Capital Campaign

Uplifting Sisters has kicked off it's Capital Campaign to raise funding for the Dream Center. The goal is to raise $10MM to retrofit and renovate the facility with green material and energy efficient equipment.

Green Job Training

The Green Renovation Project will provide green jobs and training for eligible youth allowing them the opportunity to secure stable employment with solid companies in the growing green economy.

Broken Children, Grown-up Pain

Broken Children, Grown-up provides youth with the tools needed to identify the origins of trauma without placing blame. It also teaches youth what to do and how to identify unhealthy relationships and the steps required to avoid and/or seek help to get assistance in getting out of unhealthy relationships.

Prom Dreams

Prom Dreams provides young women with gowns, shoes and accessories. In addition, Prom Dreams arranges for the young ladies to have a full makeover for their high school prom night.

Transitional/Emergency Housing

The transitional/emergency housing program has 100 beds for runaway, homeless, at risk, vulnerable and pregnant and parenting youth. It also provides support services that include family and individual counseling, life skills training and positive youth development activities.

24 Hour Child Care

The Blessing Center provides 24 hour child care for parenting teens and the community at large. Parents must be employed and are charged on a sliding scale basis.
